Join Deep Submerge
I know this is long, but please read all the guidelines below. They will most likely answer all your questions that you'll need to know on how to join.
Site Content
- Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon your site must be at least 80% dedicated to the subject of Sailormoon (in any form)
- forums/RPGs alternative universes are OK, but please do not deviate too much from the main Sailormoon theme.
- None of the following... hentai (exceptions are marked off fanwork/RPGs), hate, under construction (a few pages are OK, but not excessively i.e. 90% finished), excessive ads/javascripts/broken images.
- Decent Grammar is a must. Use a spell check if needed.
- Correct Information provide correct Sailormoon related information.
- Foreign Languages sites are welcomed at DS, but also note you must fit all the guidelines on this page and communicate in English if I need to contact you.
Site Etiquette
- Be considerate of visitors i.e. music should not be automatically playing when entering a site (and/or should be able to be turned off), excessive javascripts/ads
- Browser/Resolution capability if your site does not work in all browsers, do you note somewhere, which is the best browser/resolution?
- Accessibility is your navigation/color scheme visible to the color blind and easily found?
- Be considerate of listed owners I understand that not everyone has the same personality, but if you could be tolerant of all the members listed at DS, your visitors, and myself.
Site Individuality
- All sites are different DS understands this concept. The guidelines here reflect a general aspect of what DS strives for and can be altered for exceptional sites.
- Name and content If you see and know of a site that has the exact same name and exact same content, I highly suggest you change both.
- Zero tolerance on copying/stolen content If you decide to submit a copied site, the original owner will be notifed. Credit your sources.
Site Layout/graphics
- Moderate understanding of coding HTML, PHP, CSS
- Pre-made layouts site layouts should be made by you. Gifts are OK, but you must exhibit a competant understanding of HTML. Exceptions forum/RPG/image gallery templates (and/or other community database related) are OK i.e. weblogs (Blogger, LJ, Wordpress, Wiki).
- Pre-made brushes are allowed, but not to be used excessively or heavily on graphics.
- Zero Tolerance on stolen layout/graphics/coding this includes copying layout design graphics, CSS, HTML, PHP etc. Original designer will be notified.
URL, Site Name, and Button
- 88x31 pixel button please have an 88wx31h pixel non-animated button we can link to your site, if not the button area will be left blank. (It will not be directly linked)
- No site name w/ symbols do not have symbols (example: *~Deep Submerge~*) before or after your name or site name (also note that quotations "" clash with the database so if your site for some reason is in quotations please note that for me in the comment box)
- No url/site address redirects i.e. dot.nu etc.
Everything Else
- Before submitting, check out the quality of sites listed in your category to see what Deep Submerge is striving for
- Only submit your own site Exception I will sometimes randomly add sites I find, if you see your site on here feel free to fill out another form will all your information so I can add it in.
- Must fill out the description of your site preferably three sentences or less. Refrain from describing your site as the "best ever." I have the right to edit your entire description.
Sailormoon Goodness
So what is "Sailor Moon goodness" in a site? Everyone has their own opinion on what makes a site good or not. As long as a site has decent/interesting content, grammar, design, HTML skill, and no stolen content as well as a good natured site owner, then you have achieved our requirement. DS is not elite. Why? I don't believe that any site can call themselves elite over another.

Site of the Month
Emerald Star is a shrine to Sailorjupiter created by
Kotono. The shrine brings back all the sweet and simple things we love about Sailormoon shrines such as witty articles and interactive Jupiter-themed pages. The newly revamped Emerald Star definitely deserves a visit!
