about your reviewer

Reviewing experience Since 2001. I think one of the widespread misconceptions that many have with WPRs and reviewing in general is that anyone can review well instantly. Of course, anyone is free to open up their own WPR, but what makes a good WPR? All in all I would have to say experience. Throughout the years, working at various WPRs and being a site owner, I've come to a conclusion of what a site owner looks for in a review when they ask for one. I do hope to be a truly helpful and inspiring reviewer of anime/manga sites with the experience I have gained in the past decade of working at WPRs and owning my own sites. Some WPRs I have worked at...

Webmaking experience Since 2000. My designs are far from what I would consider elite. I will never bash a site , especially if it's not something I am uncapable of designing or coding. Again it takes experience to pull of designing and coding. You take it as it comes and with a little luck can create something original and beautiful.

Browser Firefox (1280x800). I review sites in whatever browser and resolution you say it looks best in. If you have no indication I will default review it in 800x600 Firefox.

What I like/dislike about a site Originality, creativity, and humbleness. Originality - can you only go so far with thousands of anime/manga sites on the web? Can you pull away from the rest with your original layout and content? And yes, I'm known to many online as being a credit-fiend, if I don't see credit, I get pretty irked. Creativity - this ties into originality...how creative are you enough to pull of new ideas? Humbleness - one of my biggest pet peeves are sites that flaunt themselves. There is always something new to learn from everyone. Even as a reviewer I learn something new every time I review any site, whether if it's something I shouldn't do or should do.

Anime/Manga knowledge What I dislike about other WPRs is that they will review sites that they have absolutely no idea if the content is even accurate or not. I feel confident enough that I can review most anime/manga (especially Sailormoon) sites with my knowledge on the subject. This in regards to anime/manga shrines that have information sections on the series/character/etc. (Visit here for the list of anime/manga I am familiar with)
