Crystal Tokyo is the name of the city where our neo family resides. Since the present day Tokyo is a city in Japan, the name crystal was added onto Tokyo. Neo Queen Serenity and King Endymion reign over the entire Earth, but their capital and where the palace is located is known as Crystal Tokyo. The particular building where most of the future action/plot takes place is labeled as the Crystal Palace.
The Crystal Palace resembles a multitude of crystals that are jutting out from the earth. In the manga art books, the palace is tinted a blue hue. Inside the palace, everything is also very crystal-like. Doors and arches are all elaborately designed. During the battle between the Black Moon Clan and Earth, Neo Queen Serenity becomes encased in crystal, which protects her from harm as well as to heal her wounds. During this timeframe her "crystal tomb" is located in the center of the Crystal Palace. In the manga, an extensive library and Neo Queen Serenity's chamber are shown. Chibiusa notes how she was never allowed inside her mother's chamber, which held the Ginzuishou. However, Chibiusa would always sneak inside and look around. One thing she does remember about her mother's room is a large tapestry that shows the Holy Grail. Sailorvenus notes how the extensive the library is because it stores all of the books using microchips, even the classic tales. Later, King Endymion states that only those of the Silver Millennium are able to actually enter the Crystal palace.
