2008 winners

Congratulations to all our 2008 Deep Submerge Directory winners and runner-up! We had a total of 274 valid votes with close voting in all categories. I only listed our winners/runner-up, but if you're interested in the other nominated sites visit here. It's really appreciated for everyone taking the time to nominate and vote, especially since it's our first year trying this and we didn't really uber advertise. Hope to see you again next year!

best color scheme

This is in regard to the overall layout and CSS. Do all the colors on the site flow, is there something that makes or adds on to the site because of the colors used?

best home/welcome page

Not necessarily having to do with splash pages. This can just be the front page or main page of a site. How helpful or appealing is just the front page to you? Not looking at the other sections of the site, the Main page just makes you says wow!

Best writing style

Do you just love reading the content on the site because the owner has such an eloquent way of writing? Or do they write in a way that makes you laugh, etc. Do note that I require proper grammar and spelling if you decide to nominate a site in this category

Best visual design/aesthetic

When you visit the site does it make your eyes go wow? Do you enjoy browsing the site because it's so beautifully laid out with a great color scheme, great usage of fonts and images?

best community site

How well does the site bring together fans? This doesn't necessarily have to do with open and deep discussions on if Sailorcosmos really is Sailormoon, but rather just a place for fans to maybe chill and enjoy their stay and/or how contributing is the site to the general Sailormoon community?
